After graduating from Chico State and leaving for law school in 2001, I have come full circle and returned to Chico. It is good to be back and I am grateful to serve both Chico and Oroville as a family law attorney.
I graduated from McGeorge School of Law in 2004 with distinction and a concentration in Trial Advocacy. I have been practicing law as a since that time and have represented family law clients as a divorce attorney for over a decade. During most of my career, I worked at a large law firm also litigating high stakes civil litigation cases. Through this experience, I have honed my legal and trial skills and am very comfortable litigating contentious cases and taking them all the way through trial if needed.
While more than capable of dealing with any type of case and attorney, I understand that family law cases should not be war and the goal should be to amicably resolve the case as the law permits and allow each of the parties to move on with their lives. However, sometimes a case requires aggressive representation and advocacy, which I am more than able to provide. This combination of tenacity, while always keeping my client's best interests at the forefront, gives my clients the peace of mind that they need while going through this difficult time.
When I start a relationship with a client, my goal is to help ease the stress and burden of what they are going through and make the process as smooth as possible.
